During the summer vacation (July-August) we operate two halves of summer camp. Each half is attended by about 150 adults and teenagers with disabilities. The activities are divided into two companies for boys and one for girls.
The summer camp presents a quality and enjoyable program and is greatly sought after by families with children with disabilities.
The camp takes place on hired premises which include outdoor play equipment, a comfortable dining room and places to relax. We make sure that the entire complex is attractive and clean. During camp, we invite famous singers to join us, take a trip to a water park and present our campers with a rich and fun program.
In order to ensure full security and confidence for all members of our summer camp, each camper has a personal counselor.
The counselors go through a strict application process before joining our camp, ensuring that every counselor is hand picked for their capabilities, love and care for “their” child. The level of connection between campers and their counselors is awesome, bringing tears to the eyes of even the least emotional observers.
We’re impressed every year by the outstanding applications of people who just want to give and are aware of the tremendous gift they are receiving when they work with our clients.
When participants in the vacation program come home after a day at work or at school, they enjoy a comprehensive after-hours program suited to their needs and level of function. There are activities in parks, nature studies, cooking together, computer games and much more.
During their stay in the apartment, we take care of all the needs of our clients – from the correct diet to medical care when necessary. We receive the exact information of their needs from their parents when they arrive and the instructions are followed to the letter by all members of staff.
We are delighted to welcome individuals from all streams of Israeli society. We hold provision of equal care as a top priority of the organization.
